Missed meetings are a nightmare and can cause clients to seek business elsewhere if they feel the service they receive is substandard.

Not only do missed meetings cost you time, they can also cause a client to lose respect for you.

The template letters and e-mails below provide you with the ideal platform to approach a client with an expression of your sincere apologies, if you miss a meeting.


Example 1

Dear [name],

I am writing because I was unable to attend yesterday's meeting. I'm very sorry for missing it, and I hope you'll accept my apology for the inconvenience it caused.

Dear [name],

I'm writing to apologize for missing our meeting last week. I was not feeling well and needed to get some rest. I hope you understand. I also wanted to let you know that I have been working on the project, and have made progress on it.
